Dear Educator-
Thank you for your continued partnership during testing administration. We are writing to share an important update regarding the Grade 5 and Grade 8 ELA WP Read Aloud form within the testing platform and to outline next steps.
This evening, the two tests will be updated to ensure that text-to-speech is available for students who are assigned the Text-to-Speech ELA Writing Grade 5 & 8 accommodation. In the meantime, if students wish to continue testing today, a test administrator may read the prompt aloud over the student’s shoulder.
For students who were unable to complete testing today, please follow the guidance below:
- Students who have started the test: Schools should enter the appropriate test report code and reschedule the student(s) to a breach test.
- Students who have not started the test: Schools should remove the student(s) from the current class, place them into a new class, and schedule the new class to administer the test.
