| In the Math Grades 3-5 TAM directions, on Page 23, the manual provides directions regarding a ruler and how to access the ruler in the online platform. The ruler is provided on an item level basis if needed. If there is no ruler available in the toolbar, no ruler is needed to answer the math item. The ruler will appear at the bottom of the screen if it is needed to answer the math item. The directions ask students to click on the ruler. Please see the incorrect directions below, and what to say in its place. Current Spring 2024 G3-5 Math TAM Directions: Do not read You may see some questions that ask you to use a ruler to measure an object. Click on the ruler tool at the bottom of the screen, and a ruler will appear. To move the ruler, click and drag the ruler to the object you want to measure. Updated G3-5 Math TAM Directions: Read You may see some questions that ask you to use a ruler, and it will appear at the bottom of the screen. If you see the ruler, you can click it and drag it to any object you want to measure. If you do not see a ruler at the bottom of your screen, it is not needed to answer the item. |
